Bio

Tammilynn Hermann was born in Charleston, South Carolina.  At the age of 6 moved with her family to live in Chino Valley, Arizona.  When she was 16 she was given her first camera, a Kodak Point and Shoot, and her love for photography blossom. As Tammilynn went through school, other things in life became important and photography, sadly was put away.

In 2005, Tammilynn now married with 5 children, and working as a birth doula, found that photography was a great way to combine her love for birth and family. Her love for photography was re-awakened!  By 2010 Tammilynn started working professionally and opened Simply Taken Photography by Tammilynn. In 2015 her work started gaining recognition.  Tammilynn's wedding photography had been published in local magazines, and has been  featured on such blogs as "Tatoos and I Do's".  Her newborn photography has also drawn attention from Beauty and Lifestyle Mommy Magazine.

Tammilynn currently resides with her family in beautiful Northern Arizona, where she works photographing weddings, maternity, birth and newborn babies and their families.
